mini apple pies.
another dessert i concocted, this one back in high school.
you will need some apples (2 should do, maybe only 1 if its huge), a package of bake-your-own crescent rolls, a little bit of butter, and a little bit of cinnamon and sugar.
peel the apples and chop them as fine as you can get them. stick the pieces in a bowl and microwave them til they are soft, like maybe 4 to 5 minutes. once those are done mix in a tablespoon of butter and cinnamon and sugar to taste. don’t go too heavy on the sugar tho, those apples are probably already pretty sweet, unless you are like me and dig on tart apples. mash it all up with a fork. next, lay out the crescent rolls on a cookie sheet (look at the crescent roll package to see if it needs to be greased or not)and stick two of them together to make a square, and pinch the middle seam together really well. on one side put a couple spoonfuls of the apple mixture and fold the crescent rolls over, and then press the seams together with a fork to seal it. repeat until all the crescent rolls are used up.
bake at 425 for 8 to 10 minutes, once they are done, brush some melted butter over the top and sprinkle cinnamon sugar over it. eat!!!!
these things are fucking awesome.
