apologies
soooo i think i vaguely remember promising that i was working on some kind of awesome recipe, but i have not ended up having time to get myself in the kitchen. accidentally stayed up all last night with friend, finally got into bed around 9am…only to receive a text from forrest saying they had 4 inches of standing water in their basement from the monsoons we have had for the past 2 days. so...

Monetarily Fucked.
So yeah viewers, followers, and the like… I’m broke.  My house is out of foods (almost anyways.  I have waffles, and sandwich meat; something tells me they don’t belong together.) and I’m running low on ideas.  Quick catalog of what I currently have that is edible: Waffles, PB&J, Italian sub sandwich meat, some American cheese, 7 green olives, some pasta(fallback...

Stove Top = MEAL
I’m literally running out of stuff to consume. I went out on a limb and attempted to cook stovetop with out burninating it(Note: Last time, burned the hell out of it).  One box is normally enough to feed a family of 4.  For me, it is a solid meal.  Follow directions on box, caveman eat. - Nate Sorry my meal wasn’t more original tonight, it was food or die, and I chose food.

Peanut butter and jelly waffle sandwiches
Great idea, If you are low on cash, and are like me.  I always have waffles, jelly and pb in my house.  If you want to make one, its simple, make a pb&j but instead of bread, use waffles. -nate

mini apple pies.
another dessert i concocted, this one back in high school. you will need some apples (2 should do, maybe only 1 if its huge), a package of bake-your-own crescent rolls, a little bit of butter, and a little bit of cinnamon and sugar. peel the apples and chop them as fine as you can get them. stick the pieces in a bowl and microwave them til they are soft, like maybe 4 to 5 minutes.  once those...

continuing in the fried tradition
i know a lot of people in the dirty dirty don’t think of kentucky as a real southern state, but we who live here do, and something that comes with that is good delicious freakishly unhealthy fried food. we fry everything. twinkies. dr pepper. snickers bars. bacon. i find it disgusting, but i do have a soft spot for fried vegetables. it’s cheap and easy and awesome. this recipe works...

Poptart Smores
I know what you are thinking.  “They already made smores poptarts”  I’m not talking smores poptarts, I’m talking poptart smores.  While I was microwaving my poptarts just now, I realized that strawberry poptarts would own even harder if you put melted marshmallows in between 2.  Just an idea, although I do have marshmallows.

fake tirimisu
these are awesome if you are trying to cook to impress a special lady or dude, take almost no time, and they are cheap. get some shortbread cookies. the best ones are the ones from panera cause they are huge, but they are also like 1.49$ a pop, so little ones work really well too. drizzle a little tiny bit of coffee, like a spoonful over the cookie and get it squishy. it’s best to do this...

Submission Guidlines
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii followers, minions, and lowlifes. sometime you all want to submit recipes, and that is awesome. a few simple rules: 1) keep it simple! the people we are marketing to likely have problems microwaving a hot pocket, we don’t need to be giving them recipes for creme brulee or some kind of difficult mincy food. thanks! 2) keep it cheap!...

With great power, comes great responsibility.
This evening’s journey started much like most of my other cooking adventures; I was hungry.  I looked around my house for stuff to eat, and came up with this list. Minute Rice(Godsend) 1lb Ground Beef 1 packet of McCormick Buffalo chicken seasoning Taco Shells Franks Redhot Tapatio Seasonall Ranch Dressing With all this I decided to experiment.  My initial thoughts were to make...

you will need: cheese. a package of those bake at home crescent rolls you buy in a tube. generic brand is very tasty. some ground beef. taco seasoning. some kind of pepper (depending on how hot you like your food.) brown some ground beef in a skillet. while it is cooking, season it with the taco seasoning. when it is close to done, dice the pepper really fine and mix it in there. take spoonful...

Ingredients: 2-3 Eggs Soy or Teriyaki Sauce 2 Slices American Cheese Butter Pepper Lunch Meat (Preferably Turkey) This was my staple breakfast during college when I was forced to actually make my own food because I was poorer than a crack head in Harlem. The McWaffle Sandwich
So… after my Italian Omlette of awesomeness last night, I went out and bought some more eggs.  36 to be exact.  Why 36?  because as I have previously mentioned, EGGS ARE FUCKING RAD.  Anyway, this morning I was particularly hungry before class, and had sufficient time to step into my kitchen to prepare a staple of my diet.  The McWaffle.  I ate it too fast but I’ll describe it, so it...

introducing Nate
don’t ask me, I just work here. A little about me.  Myself and Rhea both just turned 21 this month, and I’ve definitely been abusing it.  Needless to say, it’s been a contributing factor in my wallet’s emptiness.  I attend university at Arizona, and am pursuing a degree in History.  I’m a hardcore kid at heart, but will listen to almost anything, so long as...

Things you should have! a decent non stick spatula. they cost like 2$ at walmart so scrape some sticky change off the bottom of your car floor and hitch your ass over to their utensil aisle. a cookie sheet or aluminum foil. a cookie sheet is insanely versatile, and depending on how much you want to invest, you can get some nice non stick sheets with rubber handles so you don’t burn your...

breakfast nachos
nate thinks this sounds disgusting but i’m about to try it as soon as i get hungry again. Step 1:scramble some eggs, adding red or black pepper to taste, splash of milk, maybe some butter if that is your thing. while you are at it, fry up some thin sliced ham or bacon or sausage or really whatever the hell you have. Step 2: put a layer of tortilla chips on a cookie sheet or aluminum foil...

The Italian Omlette
Being a broke college student, a lot of the time, I have to just make do with the ingredients I have around the house.  I eat a grip of eggs because they’re cheap, full of protein, and tasty as fuck.  Tonight was no different.  My journey started with that rumbling sensation I have become all too familiar with, it was time to eat.  I knew I only had 2 eggs left, so I decided to send them...

allo starving children. at aluminum chef we like food, music, movies with explosions, tattoos, piercings, video games and people who aren’t afraid to say whatever the fuck is on their mind. the goal here is mostly to show how to eat well and cheap. don’t go out and buy yourself some fucking disgusting gas station hot dogs every day when you can throw some shit in a skillet and have a...
